Dear friends and family,
Because facebook is inoperable in China, I am going to use this blog to keep my friends and family updated on Nick's performance over there.
This will not be a traditional travel blog. It will simply serve as my proxy for postings I would otherwise have made to facebook while I'm in China. That means I will probably only post on the days Nick swims and only post short messages with place, time, etc.
If you're interested, look for posts on the following dates and times (EDT):
July 24 - late evening (100 back prelims)
July 25 - morning (subject to qualifying, 100 back semis)
July 26 - morning (subject to qualifying, 100 back finals)
July 30 - late evening (50 back prelims)
July 31 - morning (subject to qualifying, 50 back semis)
July 31 - late evening (possible 400 Medley Relay prelims)
Aug 1 - morning (subject to qualifying, 50 back finals; possible 400 Medley Relay finals).
Keep your fingers crossed for some fast swims.
